Do some of these voters even pay attention?
#3
Blasphemy!

I thought the AP made the BGR 6A rankings look bad?

Number 5 Trinity is even falling in the AP poll Confusednicker:

Nope!
Beauty contest mostly.

Just embarrassingly bad.
#6
Pathetically BAD!!!

Even Hoot has to agree these are BAD!!!
#7
I give up on the AP :Hammer3:
#8
AP

Always Pathetic

I'm not buying into Beechwood being #5. They are surely #3. I also am not buying in that Murray is not a top 10. They will most likely beat Owensboro Cath. Paducah-Tilghman should be much higher, but they will be when it is all said and done. Fort Campbell should at least be mentioned. McCracken should also be listed higher, but once again, they will prove that on the field.
#10
Hell fairview ahead of my jacket and they have not won a game this year:hilarious::igiveup::what:

This is the most fricked up 1A has been in a long time. No way Pikeville is number 2. They r tough and their offense is explosive, but not number 2 good. Raceland shouldnt be over Beechwood, Williamsburg would blast Bethlehem.

Raceland and Pikeville wouldnt be 8-2 and 9-1 against Beechwoods schedule. They would both probably be around 6-4/7-3. Heres how 1A should look:

1. Mayfield(clear cut. no questions asked)
2. Russellville(still has a shot to upset mf if its a wet and cold field)
3. Beechwood(defense and run game are a bit suspect, but bw is still bw)
4. Frankfort(the win over Danville impressed the heck out of me)
T5 Pikeville(very explosive offense, bt gives up pts to good teams)
T5 Raceland(probably the besf def in the east, balanced offense that can sustain drives or score quickly)
6 Hazard(Probably the most balanced offensive 1A team in 1A)
7 Williamsburg(Great passing attack. Nm of a run game. Been beaten by the only real quality teams they played, but played up alot this year)
8 Bethlehem
9 Paintsville
10 Bellevue

The last three are really good 1A squads, they just dont have enough to compete with the top 7. I didnt even rank Fairview due to themnot being eligible.

:dudecomeon: you are out of line ap !

side note BGR is 10 minutes ahead of eastern standard time

Hey 64, it wouldnt hurt my feelings a bit to see some new blood in the semifinals and finals. It would make me happy as a hog in slop to see Frankfort, Raceland, and Williamsburg all win their regions. A Raceland/Williamsburg semi would be a stellar matchup. As Far as the east goes, no one has an easy road to BG.

Hoot's challenge still stands. If Simon Kenton, Butler, or Central Hardin with the title, then I will adopt their team logo as my avatar for a full year. Now that you have dropped Trinity out of the BGR Top 10, do you still not have the confidence to make a similar pledge if Trinity wins the state title.

The AP Top 10 make the BGR Top 10 look like it was drawn out of a big hat, except the person doing the drawing kept throwing Trinity back into the hat. :biglmao:

In just a 3 days none of this matters.

All classes are rated bad. 2A is real bad. Somerset has beat 2 rated in top 10.

Pulaski County - Overrated IMO

Worse 10-0 team in the state. But seriously you could rank Pulaski anywhere from about 2-8 as you could the rest of the top 10 and there is really not much of a argument for anyone. No one knows who #2 is, it will all be settled in about a month.
