Bryan Station at Johnson Central (prediction)
#1
What does everyone have to say about this game. Lets see if the JC fans will place a little bet!
Welcome to the best site in town! If you need anything, just let me know.

I have to go with my Eagles on this one. Losing our starting QB will hurt us. But our young guys stepped up tonight to put 35 points on Logan, WV. Keep up the good work fellas! Remember one TEAM and one Community. All together produces success!

The injury to JK Ratliff is one that will definately hurt the Eagles in term of a passing game, but i think the running game will still be strong. This kid is tough and im glad to hear we will have him back for the 2 big games in Ashland and Mason Co. Bryan Station has a lot of good athletes but has a new coach i believe. In their two games they won against a Madison Southern team 35-14 that was hit very hard by graduation and lost to a solid GRC team 31-0. I think that the JC defense will keep Station in check and should win this one pretty easily. My prediction:

JC: 42
Bryan Station: 7
#5
Ill take jc in this one they will pull away in the second half and win 35 to 7........
#6
JC wins this one
#7
johnson central will have this one pretty well in hand, im gonna pick 33-6
#8
This will be a challenge for JC...but then again it probably won't...Bryan Station has nice atheletes but haven't been competitive since 1999 when Eric Shelton played for them

I thought that Shelton played for Tates Creek?

the injury to ratliff will hurt them but the are a running team so if they can get someone in to hand the ball to grimm and johnson they will be fine.

Jc-24
Bryan Station-6

Another cupcake team, JC should win this one easy.
#13
I think Johnson Central will win this one. Good luck to both teams.

My prediction:

Bryan Station- 14

Nope Shelton did play for Bryan Station.

I guess we should schedule some tough games like Jenkins and Betsy Layne?

Trust me, Bryan Station will be no cupcake. If you can put that many athletes on the field at one time, then you are NO CUPCAKE! How bout a 270 running back! Bring your team over Friday and try to stop him.:notworthy

Boy you got to be out of your mind, I could give a shit less about how Paintsville does, yeah I would like to see them do well, but face it, I'm out of high school been out for some time now. My cousin goes to JC, so if I root for anyone its going to be them. I'm just telling it like it is, JC in my honest opinion doesn't really have a team on their schedule, maybe Ashland but that loss to Raceland doesn't go over well with me to make me think they are top of the crop. A 270 lbs running back, woopty doo, and you wanna talk about athletes, how about this team has only won like 5 games the past 3 years. For all those athletes they got, they sure do have a strong tradition at Bryan Station...not being in the playoffs or over .500 since 99. Dag gone, I think all schools need to beef up their schedule with a bunch of no talent 4A schools to make it look like they did something. If JC doesn't win this game by 5 TD's, then its a moral victory for Bryan Station in my opinion. WOOOO go JC, go Eagles...Rolleyes

And I'm pretty sure my school's football team could stop him, UofL did a nice job of stopping UK the other night didn't they.

I assure you that Bryan Station is no cupcake. I dont care what their record has been the last 50 years. This year is this year and last year was last year and they are loaded with athletic talent this year. Bryan Staion had maybe the best collection of talent that Johnson Central played last year. Johnson Central sure looked pitiful the couple of years before Matney too and they were also loaded with athletes. Coaching make sthe difference. I fully expect Bryan Station under a new coaching system to be about all JC can handle.

Also that Ashland team that you may not be so high on has back to back wins against the 2 year consecutive state champ Belfry and last years state 2A champ Russell.

I think I'll have to put my points on JC to win handily.

Both games Ashland won against those teams were in their house, home field advantage, maybe a little home cooking. For not a missed field goal and Belfry getting stopped a yard short they are 0-3. I agree though, you can have all the athletic ability in the world but if you don't have someone that can bring it together into one solid unit then you have nothing. I still say Bryan Station is a cup cake, Central should win this one with ease. I gave Central the nod in this one to win big, what else do you all want from me??? If you are wanting me to make it out like Bryan Station is an elite 4A team that will give Central fits, well its not going to happen. JC should win this one, and if Pikeville played them I'm sure Pikeville would win as well.

Quick look at Bryan Station's last 5 full seasons and up to date this year:

2001 1-9
2002 2-8
2003 2-8
2004 1-9 (lone win over Bourbon Co.)
2005 1-9
2006 1-1(only win so far over a team that is 1-2 that just defeated Letcher Central)

Combined 6 year total up to this point 8 wins 44 losses. A winning percetage of 18.18% Sounds like JC will have their hands full...lol

I agree with PHSCARD on this one. I am a hugh JC fan and have great resources at the school. I bleed BLACK and GOLD! The one thing I am worried about in this one is an emotional let down after JK got hurt last week. I know it didn't hurt in the game against Logan but in my opinion Bryan Station has better athletes that Logan. JC should I repeat SHOULD win this game by at least 4 TD's. However, if they don't it's no big deal. Bryan Station has speed, and speed kills. My prediction JC 42 BS 13:Thumbs:

Ok....enough with the talent thing...Bryan Station has talent yes...that is for sure but they lose talent to Henry Clay and other Lexington schools because Bryan Station scored low on state scores thus letting anyone from their area go to any school that they want too...Paintsville don't have nothing to do with this because well the Paintsville game isn't nothing but for bragging rights...Who cares what Paintsville does...they are 1A not 3A...they are not in 3A District 8...they are in 1A District 8...Ok...Paintsville or Johnson Central should never be the biggest games on the schedule...yes its good to win...but what does it do for the district...zip zero zilch....ok...and Im so sick of hearing about PHS vs. JCHS...its one game that is played...don't mean nothing except the winner gets a wooden barrell...I went to JC last year...and the Apple Bowl didn't mean nothing to me...I wanted the hardware that said DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP...I wasn't worried about their schedule...so its not a big deal that JC is playing a team from Lexington....so JCHS rulz...get over it...nobody cares about the Apple Bowl but the STUDENTS...sorry but its very true!!!
#26
Oh and yea Bryan Station puts alot of talent on the field...but I think a catholic school in 3A in Lexington that has more talent...posters correct me if Im wrong...lol... and JC might want to worry about them more because if you get through the brutal region...you might have to play them

Like I said earlier, Bryan Station has talented kids, most schools do have a few athletes, but if you can't bring them into one solid unit then how are you going to utilize those players to make the team overall better. You can't. All that I am trying to get across here is that most people are saying its going to be a hard fought game for the Eagles. They haven't been tested yet, and I honestly think they won't be tested until the playoffs, second or third round. I've seen them play, big, fast, few play makers, and if you have that around that area you are doing pretty darn good and should be able to defeat many of the teams you play on that alone. When you start to get in Northern KY or Central KY thats when you find solid teams in every aspect of the game. Thats why I am saying, JC has nothing to worry about until they get into the playoff picture. They are probably right now THE strongest team in EKY in any class. And if EKY's strongest team can't get by a very sub-par Central KY team that hasn't had more than 2 wins since 2000 then EKY football isn't anything worth talking about. That's why I say, they got a cup cake team and they should EASILY, and I repeat, EASILY breeze through this up coming game. No need to sweat it out, I still like the eagles by 35.

Yea...it was a joke...Wink...PHS I understood what you meant in that they were subpar...but I thought you was saying that they didn't have any talent...sorry!!!
