Henderson Co. 27 Tilghman (1-5) 14
#1
Another tough loss for Tilghman. Held Henderson to six points in the second half. Game was within reach but mistakes and penalties and offensive dysfunction prevailed. I guess if there is a positive, it's that they made some changes at halftime that resolved a defensive issue Henderson Co. had exploited for two TD's. Henderson Co. is a decent 6A team that executes well. Looking forward to their Oct. 25 game @ McCracken. As had been typical of Lone Oak, Haskins teams tend to get better as the year progresses and McCracken destroyed a potent Fort Campbell team last night. Tilghman seems to start strong and then wither as the season goes on. Tilghman has played a tough schedule, the 6 opponents are 28-6. Hoping things can turn around by district time.
