Sycamore (OH) @ Ryle 9/6
#1
After a tough way to lose to Scott county (giving 49 second half points up). Ryle will face the Sycamore Aviators and there D-1 QB. Who has committed as a Running Back to Ohio State.

Here is some info on the Aviators who are ranked in the top 100 in the Nations

Senior QB Greg Simpson (5-9, 185), the reigning GMC Offensive Player of the Year, returns after running for 1,915 yards and 28 TDs and throwing for 1,024 yards and 13 TDs. Simpson also punts (35.2 yard average). Three All-GMC offensive lineman return in seniors Jake Barnhorst (6-4, 230) and Max Engelhart (6-1, 285) and junior Mat Severence (6-0, 260).

On defense, senior LB Tinashe Bere (6-2, 230) is a first team All-GMC player that’s committed to Duke. He headlines a unit that also features DL Cayden Richter (sr., 6-5, 240), DL Todd Lewis (sr., 6-1, 230/All-GMC) and DB Jamar Hunter (sr., 5-10, 160).

This game will get ugly fast!

If they gave up 49 second half points last week this will be uglier than my senior prom date.

Ryle looked great against Scott County in the first half the D held SC to 7 points and the offense kept the ball out of SC's hands.
The second half is a different story Daniel ran back a punt making it 14-0 and stealing the momentum. Then one of the weirdest things i have seen in a while Ryle switches there O-Line up moving there center to tackle and guard to center.

Following that decision Ryle gives up 4 sacks and goes 3 and out the next 4 possessions. The gained -27 yards in that series of possessions.
Scott county during this time is receiving the ball on the 40-50 yd line each time and begins to pick a very worn out Ryle D apart. Daniel receives 3 Td. By this point making it 35-0
At this point Ryle switches back to the regular offense.
Ryle then goes on to score twice with the Offense they started the game with and the backups are in for both teams with a score of 56-14 with 3 mins left.

Scott County simply out coached the Raiders with great half time adjustments. Plus have Scott Daniel makes a big difference as well.

I'm saying this week Ryle plays ball control to try and make sure there players do not get discouraged. Warner will try his hardest to keep this game as low scoring as possible. Expect long slow running drives. Ryle could pull out a victory but it comes down to there offense and if they can move the ball when the pressure is on.

Was the switching of the guard and center due to injury? Very odd.

*correction Western Michigan is his only D-1 FBS. Urban Meyer from Ohio State has been down and meet with Simpson but to public knowledge has made no move on the QB/RB yet.

And no the pulled there right tackle out. He was injured in the scrimmage but it was a mild sprain from what i heard. Fridat he played the first half and the rest of the game when he was put back in. I'm not really sure what there goal was (maybe it was bothering him or the trainer pulled him but I'm not sure he appeared to be fine during the game)

The only time Ryle touches the endzone will be when they catch the football for a touch back!

Sycamore should take this one by, 35 or more.

I honor your loyalty to Ryle and very idealistic perspective on this game. As a raider fan you have a better chance of pulling a parrot out your .....

Hope both teams escape injury free!

Hey anything is possible but i agree about the parrot on this one.

I would expect ball control I'd say when Ryle had the ball you can beat it won't be snapped till under 3 seconds are left on the play clock. Ryle will definitely be happy to make it to conference play to say the least.
