Beechwood 20, Lima Senior (OH) 14

This is a very impressive and huge win for Beechwood. Lima Senior is a Div. 2 school in Ohio (equivalent of a low 6A, high 5A in KY) and used to be a very strong program, ending Cleveland St. Ignatius run of 5 straight Div. 1 titles (used to be in Div. 1)

This is a win that Beechwood can really build off of for a run at Mayfield

Not impressed, beating a down Ohio squad. Heard it was sloppy play by both teams.... This victory means nothing in their quest to dethrone Mayfield as the king of class 1A.

i think it does when you can play that well against a solid program with some depth. im not saying beechwood is number 1 yet, but this is a very good win for this team

Who said Lima is a solid program. I know in recent years they were 0-10 and 1-9.

Yeah, I looked on maxpreps and was really not seeing anything that impressed me about this team. Im not saying that the wood isn't going to be a good team. I'm just saying this win doesn't impress me.
