Both teams had great opportunities. I believe Boyle County had over 200 more yards of offense than Warren Central but shot themselves in the foot in crucial times, 3 turnovers. The Rebels controlled the pace of this game and were clutch when needed. WC presented a physical team with no quit and was a GREAT test for Boyle County. I wish them boys a safe ride home.

Boyle just needs to stop the big plays. 3 plays was about 95% of their total offense last night. The other 34 plays Boyle held them in check. I came away more impressed after last nights game than the game last week at Lincoln.

Great game to learn from for Boyle's young team. Tied up 16 to 16 in the 4th against a physical team and having to answer the call and step up will only help the young Rebels. Last week helped them zero. This game was great for them.

The result was mostly what I expected. I'm just glad Warren Central showed a better game than they did the previous week. Personally, I find Boyle County to be better than Madisonville, despite the lower margin.
Central's offense is still coming along. There were improvements tonight, and hopefully they keep improving. The line is just really hurting them and it doesn't really look like that's going to improve this year. They're extremely young on it, so it's more of building for the future at this point. Really the only disappointments I had in the game were a couple of silly penalties to keep drives alive and the failure to properly defend on the audibled fake punt that basically put the game away. Just left a guy unmarked at the line and it was pitch and catch from there.
Best of luck to Boyle County this year!
