This game was not as close as the score indicates{if you can call it that}.The last score was on the subs. The score before that came after 45 yards in three penalties assessed against the dawgs. One highlight that stood out for me was the 1 punt the dawgs had was a beauty. Punter was standing on his 42 yard line and boomed a beautiful directional spiral that hit at the Rowan 19 and skipped out of bounds. This could be a good weapon in a close game. Good to see Goble back. Two TD's called back on penalties and I believe 3 fumbles lost by LC or this game would have been ridiculous. Big test next week against a very good Fairview team. Fairview will make you pay for mistakes. I believe the Dawgs are going to be in every game this year and that includes BELFRY.

9 for the bulldogs had a great game from the defensive side. Is this kid the real deal?

Your right, the game would have been 70 -14 if it wasn't from mistakes. LC will be healed, ready, and hungry to meet Fairview and to prove to a lot of people that they are a team to watch out for this year. Love watching this team, its been since the 90's I seen so much talent on the field at one time.

Fairview will need to play better than they did tonight. But congrats to the Dawgs on another solid win.

Very good game and I believe that Rowan is a little better of a test then Boyd. I think we still made a few mistakes but this team will get better as the season goes on. Hate me if ya want but like I said in the Boyd thread I am still a little worried about theD line. Even the radio anouncers said our Dline got man handled by the Rowan Oline a few times tonight. Up to this point our speed on defense has bailed us out but will that work on a team like Belfry who runs a lot and does it well...............only time will tell. With all that said this is a very exciting team to watch and I can't wait till the September fest bowl. If Fairview is what some say they are then this will be a great test to see who we really are.:Thumbs:

No and I repeat No it would have not. I watched that kid run out He dressed but didn't warm up. But just watching him run out for warm ups there is no way He should run the ball. He was out of breath just running out to the field and if anything needs be lineman if He could handle that. Also His team loosing by 20+ points and He was goofing off on the sidelines waving at the girls or boys in the stands. :lame::Cheerlead:eyeroll: And this game was not as close as the scoreboard might indicate.
