Thanks you for four good years of football.
Yes, some of you played varsity all four year, while most of you had to put your time on the JV. Squad.
No matter the path you traveled to get to this point, we the fans have been able to escape the real world for a few hours each week and enjoy watching you give us all something to cheer about and root for.
As you all prepare for this season, never forget the hard work you put in to become the player you have become. Always remember the fun times you had and the friends you have made along the way. Think of all of the lessons you have learn from the men, who are smart enough to teach you not only football but life lessons.
I know it is cliche to say but this year more than ever, you really should give 100% not only on the field during the game, but in practice too. Play as they like every snap you get will be your last. Think back to when you were that young player and remember the senior who helped you, so that you do not forget to help the younger players this year.
Most of all have fun and never let anyone tell you, you can not achieve your goals on and off of the field.
