lexington catholic won the bombs above the bluegrass 7 on 7 on friday to qualify for the national select 7 on 7 tourney in hoover alabama. led by qb and tourney mvp Reese Ryan catholic finished 7-0 in the double elmi tourney.Ryans top 3 wr David Bouvier--Sam Letton --and Jordan Hatton all made plays and difficult catches all day as well as rbs Marcelis logan and Noah Mitchell. te Braxton Bouch and slotJustin Brownell han outstanding days. the catholic defense was oustanding despite missing both starting corners and its middle linebacker. after a 4-0 in pool play the Knights defeated Paris-Bryan Station and West Brown Ohio in the finals to win. congrats to the young men and the coaching staff. best of luck next week at UK and later in Hoover Alabama!!!!!

This tournament is a joke, Lex Cath played one game from 12:30 to the championship game, rest of the teams played about 4, whether winning their pool or not!! Home cooking, last year coach announced that Lex Cath accepted the bid before the tourney even began!

That's what happens when you win your pool, DUH. You get to rest and a bye. Your a joke. Instead of talking about it, have your players come out and play and win it on the field. And rest??? It's a 7 on 7 and a nice, less warm day. Give us a break... REST:lame:
