Phelps vs Shelby Valley
#1
Both teams have the same number of players who will win this one.
#2
From what I have seen in the scrimmages Shelby Valley will have their hands full with Phelps Hornets and it will be a long season for the wildcats. By the way several of the Warrior players observed the Phelps football team cheering against team last night at East Ridge and they all stated they will take care of busniess on OCT.13 when they visit Phelps. They can't wait.
#3
Weren't they (ER) cheering against Phelps as well?? All's fair in love and FOOTBALL!!!! LOLOL....
#4
Shelby Valley should win by 2 td's or more.

Okay, this thread has nothing to do with ER.

On another note, Valley should win this game easily. 2 touchdowns or more.

According to what was counted last night, Phelps has 32 players out... SMALL single A... how many does SV have?? Aren't they AA???? Phelps may get beat BUT I will guarentee that those 32 kids that are on that football field will put their heart and soul into winning. They will give an all out effort to beat a team that is AA .... AND.... Just MIGHT do it!!!
#9
Should be a good game but I think Shelby Valley will pull it out !

Phelps-26
Shelby Valley-40

I was one of the PHS guys cheering for the wave, and if they are ready, they better bring there A+ game, our B- game could beat there A game!!!

and the excellent tackling skills, wow...great...FEEL THE SARCASM.

Phelps 30

SV 20

What happened to #2 from Phelps? IS that Robinette? How long is he out for? I know he is in a cast! Phelps looked out of shape to me.

Robinette is my nephew... yep.. he is out for a little while.. not sure yet until the results of some tests come back. As far as being outta shape... I kinda doubt it... some of the kids were probably playing both ways and if I was a guessing person I would say...... that would make anyone tired!!!
#18
Out of all the teams there..I would say that everyone of them played both ways..even Grundy and East Ridge with the exception of maybe 3-4.. Will be hard for Robinette to play esecially the way he likes to play..One heckuva player..Man, will be hard to be the WYMT sleeper team without Hunt, Gannon and Robinette!
#19
Phelps by atleast a touchdown.

@ ER - I was the offical wave starter. ;-) Yeah, they better be ready to come here and play because we are.
#20
I say......

Phelps 6

SV 40

Remember guys this is Phelps and without Gannon they drop two levels down. They will not be able to keep up with Sauders offense. I also think they will have trouble keeping SV defense out of the back field.
#21
hum???? We all have opinions!!
#22
yes i believe that the hornets will have trouble keeping the cats out of their backfield...JC even had some trouble keeping the defense out of their backfield

UH... the last time I counted there were 11 players on the field... 1 kid don't make a team!!!
#24
I like Shelby Valley in this one guys. Their O is pretty tough and they have a quality D. If Phelps wins I will be surprised and disappointed at the same time because I believe SV has a great coach going in the right direction.
#25
I will say that the kids that are playing seem to have a better understanding of what the game of football is all about! Still, SV's lack of numbers will hurt them down the road.

SV 26
PHS 8

SV -24

PHELPS -12

Thats the line out of Vagas, but for real should be a good game but I am going with the Wildcats.
