Lawerence Co. vs. Sheldon Clark

This game is going to be at the rock, what does everyone think about this game.

I can see this one going either way. SC lost its whole offensive line but returns nearly all it speciality players. LC on the other hand didnt do very well last year and i dont know what they have coming back. There is some questions to be answered in this game.

Sc didn't lose their whole offensive line they lost both gaurds and right takle they still have the center sam schimdit, and left takle danny hinkle.
I don't know how good lc is but i know that a lot of thier players transfered to different schools. The game could be a toss up but who knows until friday.

I dont know about what went on in Lawrence's scrimmage today but if they did lose to Montgomery that cant be a good sign as they were 1-9 a season ago

Thats what i was thinking as well. I think Montgomery Co. has won a total of 3 games in the past 2 years with 2 of those wins coming against Pendleton County. Doesnt look good for LC this year.

I am shocked that the Montgomery team I saw today was only 1-9 last year, they looked pretty good to me.

I checked KHSAA just now and Montgomery Co. only win last year was against Rowan County 17-13 at Montgomery Co. Also a correction on my earlier post they have only won 3 games in the past 3 years with wins in 03' and 04' coming against Pendleton County and 05' against Rowan Co.

I dont know if you can really take anything from scrimmages like this and the ones going on around the state. Just have to line it up Friday and see what happens.

I look at it this way, if we win and and show the program is heading upwards then the respect will come back, have to earn it back first.

As the saying goes "To get respect you have to earn it". LC has a chance to earn some against what should be a solid Sheldon Clark team. Good Luck to both teams.

Lawrence Co offense is not very good but there Defense will surprise SC ! Sheldon Clark should win but there not going to win by as much as you all think !

Montgomery Co. is 4A I dont think too many of you guys on here know what kind of schedule they went through last season, they played teams George Roger Clark, Jeffersontown, Madison Central, South Laurel, Harrison Co., Mason Co., Lincon Co. ! I would love too see Sheldon Clark beat those teams ! So before you guys talk about Montgomery Co look at there schedule from the season before !

I guess we will have to find out how good these teams really are friday. I cant wait its always a hard hitting game against these two teams, should be exciting.

That may be true that they played a tough schedule but i know for a fact that they have been down for quite a few years cause during the 03' season Johnson Central only won one game that year and that game was against Montgomery Co. The year after that Jim Matney arrived and the JC program has been on the rise, but at the time JC beat them in 03', both were pretty bad teams. And there only win last year was against a bad Rowan Co. team that had dropped out of district play.
