There is some horrible and shocking news for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team that surfaced on Saturday night. Starting quarterback Everett Golson is no longer enrolled at the university, which leaves the national title runners-up without a starting signal-caller for the 2013 season. The reasons for Golson leaving the school have yet to be announced, though there is some belief that it could be because of a “res life violation.”

“Federal and school privacy laws preclude us from issuing any further comment at this time,” a statement from Notre Dame read.

This has been the worst off-season in Notre Dame history...feels like anyways.

I believe Golson will return in 2014 tho.
