I promise this team is better than their record. It's been an uphill battle all year. This club has faced adversity from the get to and have improved over the course of the year. If they believe in themselves and bring a good attitude to the park and want to give every ounce of energy they posses then they could win this region. They have played one of the hardest schedules in this region and have played more games than anyone and it pays off in the end no matter your record. Everyone sarts postseason 0-0 they have to play the games for a reason because its anyone's ball game anything can happen. Hopefully they can pick up a win tomorrow and advance to the regional tournament for the first time since 06. In years past all the breaks have went aginist SC maybe they will catch a few this time around. Ill pick SC 7-6 with Kendall Kirk picking up the win in relif to advance and play another day. Good luck to both sides in this battle of brothers.

Was not rookie mistake, was calculated risk that did not pan out due to the fact Magoffin could not hit the ball and put pressure on Sheldon Clark. It can be debated several ways and was before game, but simple fact is 1 run is not going to win a game the vast majority of the time no matter who is pitching. Congrats to Sheldon Clark hope they play well tonight.

little hostile aren't you? so to understand what your saying is that sheldon clark baseball is about moral victories? i did look back on the scoreboard. i noticed a 25-0 score against sheldon clark. i also did not see any losses after the 2006 season to sheldon clark. but there were some "close" scores, so congrats.


and good win tonight against johnson central. from what i was told jc pitching walked about 10 batters or more.

well lc won the region in 2009, 2011. not too many teams out of the 15th make a state run, so why slam lc for it? i never said mike hall wasn't a good coach, but to claim what you all are is ridiculous. putting him at the top when other coaches have worked HARDER than him developing players. why can't sheldon clark have baseball players? they have had football players. they have basketball players and win there. why not baseball? you and others keep saying he does "more with less"...why is that? why does he have less? always?


and i don't think it's me that causes people to not like LC in the region. i think it has something to do with some success since entering the region. :1:

Mike wins 1-2 games a year in the district. those against lawrence are not very competitive. i don't see the games he plays against the other 4, just a few of the lawrence games and they are usually boring 5 inning games. but if you call that success, then keep pumping up mike hall as being one of the best then. who is the coach at phelps? or shelby valley? they do more with less, too. and work just as hard as mike hall does. which isn't saying much.

wow. first round exits. well if memory serves me correctly lawrence took down the heavily favored pikeville team in 2011. did you sing the praises of the lawrence coaching staff like you are mike hall? pikeville had the best team in the 15th region, and 1-9 was better than lawrence. if it were mike hall instead, you would be helping sculpt a statue of him as we speak.


i'm glad that people like you focus on negatives of high school KIDS. lawrence went to the state tournament 3 out of the last 5 years. one final four. say what you want, but for a 15th region team that is pretty good and successful.
