PRESTONSBURG Evan Yongue tossed a complete game, three-hit gem as the Tomcats edged Prestonsburg on Saturday in the King of the Mountain Classic.
Yongue fanned nine and walked three.
Ashlandâs Logan Salow led off the game with a double and later scored on an error. He went 2-for-4.
The other run came in the sixth, when Jake Hall plated Cade OâBryan on a fielderâs choice.
Prestonsburg stole home in the seventh to avoid a shutout.
