Middlesboro got up 2-0 in the first and never looked back. At one point it was 2-1 but Middlesboro scored 4 runs in the 5th to move to a more comfortable lead.
Yoakum pitched all 7 for the Jackets and Watson started for Whitley, throwing through 5 and then getting relieved by someone.
MHS will face Garrard County at Whitleys field tomorrow at 11.

Adams left Watson in to long.
Hes a good four inning pitcher.
Hes also about third, arguably the 4th pitcher in Whitley rotation.

Yoakum is also Middlesboro's 3rd pitcher but threw well today. He is hitting his stride at the right time.

Whitley downfall if how far there pitching falls off after 2 and 3.
While other teams in the region can win with 4 or 5 pitchers, it will be Whitley downfall in the region if they get past Corbin in the first round of district.
Mboros staff is better from top to bottom.
I think it was the Crisologo kid that relieved him.
