Impressive win for North, and a showcase night for Marcus Carson. Hit first pitch of the game way out to right center, added another homer, triple and double. Clay actually intentionally walked him once leading off an inning, which is the same as another double. And for the first five innings, this was off Tyler Allen, a very good pitcher for Clay, who beat South 3-1 earlier in the season, throwing a two-hitter. Logan Mallory went a solid five for North, Carson closed out, struck out four of six.
Clay looked flat as a pancake, didn't have any fire. Not sure why, you never know with teenagers.
