From The Independent.

Highlighted by Sydney Cullopâs grand slam, the kittens long ball barrage also included homers by McKenzie Vanover, Hayley Kilburn, Megan Griffith and Megan Hensley. Five big files tied the record for most in a single game as the Kittens joined the 2004 Lafayette team that knocked five out against Marion County, according to KHSAA records. Hensley dealt a one-hitter, striking out 13, from the circle and she added a 5 for 5 effort at the plate. She also drove in a pair of runs and scored three times. Kilburn was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. Katie Baldock and Griffith also each drove in three. Ashland (17-7) is on the road against Raceland tonight.
