The search is on for two Wayne County teens. Police say the girls went to meet an older California man one of the teens met on myspace.com. Beth Guffey and Shanda Eagleton were last seen by family Friday night. The two spent the night at Beth's sister's house but left in the middle of the night after stealing the sister's car.
Late Sunday, one of them called home. Beth Huffie told her family she was in Missouri on her way to Illinois. She said she's no longer with Shanda Eagleton, and that she doesn't know where she is and that she left the car somewhere in Kentucky. Beth's family is worried she's headed to California to meet a 19 year old man she's been talking to on myspace.com. However, Beth's mother did talk to that man on the phone, D.J. Wilson, and he says he does not have plans to meet up with her daughter.
Police want to talk to Wilson about the girls' whereabouts.
