New Mexico Head Coach is taking over the UCLA job. This came to a shock to New Mexico as Alford had just signed a new 10 year contract extension...

except New Mexico is a far better program than Minnesota. New Mexico isn't a super strong basketball school, but it is a basketball school. Minnesota is a hockey school
