Repeat repeat after repeat
#1
I have a question and that question is... Once you keep continuously repeating your class title year after year and their are bigger and better teams in larger classes would you ask to move up too the next challenge and try and win that state title or chose to stay in that class and blame the KHSAA because they are the ones who put you there and boast how amazing your are every year?? Obviously I'm not speaking of Trinity, because they would beat anyone in our state by double digits. There are great and I'm glad they are in Kentucky representing our state.!

OPINIONS..
Because Clearly Tackett could care less, he is just pounding that golf swing..LOL

If I'm someone like Mayfield or Central. I could care less what you or anyone else thought. I just won a state title.

They've won enough to make a point.

Who really cares if your winning championships that's all that matters. That's why you play the games is to win it all isn't it?? Does it really matter 1a 2a 3a 4a 5a 6a it's all about the championship up in class down in class who cares. Just win baby win!!!

ask that to the players on those teams. Bet the seniors like to be rewarded for their hard work and dedication
#7
Im beginning to think we just need to end all sports.
Nothing is ever fair....

Maybe Mayfield should add on to the school to increase their student body to over 1,000 and then have to be reclassified like all teams are. Then they can play 6A.....

Why punish the kids in your grade schools hoping to keep their schools tradition alive by making it more challenging than it should be. I say just let the chips fall and play the hand you are dealt and the class you have been put in.

lets split the state up into 12 classes (sarcasm)

12 public, 12 independents, 12 parochial, it'll bolster the trophy industry...

Take top 2 teams in district. After 6 class champs are crowned then next week have 1A vs 2A for Div 1 championship. 3A vs 4A Div 2 championship and 5A vs 6A div 3 championship

That Mayfield team was special, with the same kids the next year they won it all again and were perhaps the greatest team ever at Mayfield

Both Mayfield and Corbin were very very good in '76 and '77. If memory serves the Hounds beat Mayfield 6-0 in '76 and Mayfield returned the favor by one in '77. Close games and talent between the two then.

But it happens in each class at different times.

Trinity, Central and HHS right now.

In the past: Danville dominated AA and A for a while. Beechwood in A. Boyle had a 2 year run in AA then moved their act up to AAA for a 4 year run to the finals.

It happens.
