Will Kentucky get a #1 seed ???
#1
Will Kentucky get a #1 seed ???
#2
I say they do if they win the SEC Title in Atlanta, even if they lose to on the road to Bama,USC,or Fla. during the regular season.
#3
If they win out....yup
#4
If you look at the top teams it will take at least two more loses to knock UK out of a number 1 and maybe not then because the others will beat up on each other.

Duke, NC, Wake, Kansas, Ok. St. BC, Syracuse, Uconn
#5
They will probably get a 1 seed but they wont do very good with it
#6
Yep
#7
No way they get a #1 seed
#8
Why not alfus? Tell us whom you think will.
#9
if u even watch college basketball ull see that kentucky will be lucky to get 2 seed....rite now illinois, kansas, wake forest, and north carolina are #1 seeds

Um, No I am not insane and I really do not believe anyone else on here either. UK might get a #1 seed it is very likely. However I think we will be a shoe in for the high #2.....

Please leave all personal attacks at the door when you come in.

so let me get this straight.....u think kentucky will get a number one seed over undefeated illinois, north carolina who crushed kentucky, wake forest who beat north carolina, and kansas who beat kentucky without there best player...

cmon man, u gotta think bout these things

Yeah I agree...Kentucky could win out and still not get a #1 seed, The SEC is extremely weak this year....
#13
Another thing that you have to consider is that it is very likely that UNC & Wake will lose at least two more games before the seeds come out. One of them will certainly lose another.
#14
I think Kentucky will get the low #1 Seed or the High #2 seed which I prefer because it will put us in Nashville for the first two games.
#15
I've been thinking the same BP. I would rather get the high 2 less pressure.
#16
now that makes more sense belfry pride...the past 2 years kentucky has been overwhelmed by the pressure of having a # 1 seed.....

with a high 2 seed they can play the role of underdog and maybe make it to the elite 8
#17
With Kansas going down it really looks good for the Cats now.
#18
kentucky will get the #1 seed because the sec is to weak
#19
I think there is a chance they may get a #1 seed if the run the table in the SEC
but that isnt saying that i want this to happen
becasue they did this last season and then look what happened
UK has never went undefeated in SEC play and won a National Championship....Heck, UK has never won an SEC Championship and National Championship in the same year...but i could be wrong
All I am saying that is that i hope UK doesnt get a #1 seed...like you all have said the pressure may be too overwhelming...but now with Kansas, Boston College, and NC all fallling this past week, the #1 seed is getting a little more clear to the CATS
#20
The chance for a 1 might slipped away tonight thanks to SC... It would take Ky running the table in the SEC from here on out and winning the SEC for them to get the number 1 seed..
#21
I am still hoping for the high #2....Looks good now. If we win the SEC Title, we may still end up with a #1. Hopefully not !
#22
I don't want UK with a #1 seed. They have never done good with a #1 seed. #2 or #3 is fine by me.
#23
I agree BCF4L
#24
yea but to get a 1 seed UK would need to win out the rest of their games and have NC or Wake get beat one more time
but i too am fine with a #2 or 3 seed
just as long as they do better than last season adn hopefully surprise some...
#25
number 2 and maybe a 3 seed
#26
UNC or Wake will have to lose at least one more game.
#27
the comittee will pick unc and wake over kentucky even if they each have 5 losses....sec isnt impressive at all...
#28
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
#29
Kentucky WILL NOT get a #3 seed. There is still an outside shot at a #1. Like I said, I would rather have UK at #2 in Nashville for the 1st & 2nd round.
#30
BP I can't see them getting anything lower than a 2 either.
