Each game between these two this season was close. No reason this one should be any different.

I watched both teams play tonight Johnson Central is definitely the best team left, the have explosive scorers and they played a very talented Pikeville team, Sheldon Clark has some nice shooters and a very nice guard but their defense is suspect East Ridge got in the lane many of times if they play like that the Eagles will rule the inside.
Johnson Central 65
Sheldon Clark 53

Sheldon Clark has already beat them twice this season and they do it one more time tomorrow to win the 15th region
#7
JC makes their first ever back-to-back trip to the Sweet 16.
#8
It's no secret what JC does..... shoot the 3 and get the ball inside.

From what I saw tonight, SC might be a little bit quicker than JC. And yes, I know SC has beaten JC twice already this season.

If JC can let their big men pound the inside and get some 3's..... then I believe JC will cut down the nets.
#9
JC will have to contain the 3-point shooters from SC; apparently playing in the big gym doesn't affect them.

Big games like this are when Shane Hall usually comes to play. And if Shane Hall comes to play for four quarters, it shouldn't be close. He showed up for the last couple minutes of the district finals, and that was enough to scrape by. Tomorrow...he may drop 25 and 12.

When was the last time Sheldon Clark went to the Sweet 16???

When was the last time Sheldon Clark played in the regional finals???
#11
83 since they went to state & 88 since the were in the finals
#12
it's not where SC has or has not been in the past. It's where they are now!!! regional finals. This team has played hard all season and has some of the best talent in the region and a top notch coach.... SC by 4:
#13
Good luck to both teams!

SC has some young talent and Coach Smith will be a tough team to beat for the next few years!

JC is always a factor!

That is a true story: coaching does make all the difference. To lose Justin Johnson and yet be as good - or better - a team the next year says something about the new coach's ability.

The play from parsley this year is unbelievable he has put this team on his back all year long does he have one more game put back he is probably the most underrated player in the 15th region maybe player of the year candidate
#16
Sheldon clark once again beats JC. Neutral court helps them alot. JC cant have 4 free throws the last 10 seconds to pull off a 1 point win.

SC by 3

agree, start of year JC was predicted to be in this position but SC was not on anyone's
radar to be one of the regions top teams. Have to give credit to the SC players & coaching
staff to get to this game (Great Job).
As far as JC have to give them props as with no seniors & assuming they win tonite as they have to be considered favorite looking like a 3-peat for 2014.

Should be the best Regional Final game in the state!!!

Johnson Central - 54
Sheldon Clark - 55

Parsley MVP!!!

Experience will be big that's what killed Pikeville....

I would not say best game in the state. Ballard does play Trinity in the 7th Region Finals. That is the best game.

I think neutral refs hurts SC, rice will be in fould trouble early. JC to strong inside with neutral refs, JC by 8.
#24
Gotta LOVE the 57th!

Johnson Central by 10, but it would be a nice story if SC could make it to Rupp.
#26
These games are decided on matchups. I think JC matches up with SC very well and is more deep. If Hall comes out and has a big game like he is capable, it will be a JC win. I think JC can match up with SC. Hall will be the difference.

I will say SC has beat JC twice with a great game plan and hard playing. If JC does not find a way to solve this puzzle, SC will win.
#27
Sc should take this on a neutral court.
