Oldham County 59, South Oldham 52: The host Colonels (23-7) made 6 of 8 fourth-quarter free throws to hold off the Dragons (21-7) in the 29th District final.

Jacob Kopp led Oldham County with 17 points. South Oldham got 19 from Matthew Haysley.

You can tell when it is Tourney time, Holland will have Oldham a tough out in the 8th

Hope this year turns out differently for my Dragons. Always seem to find a way to exit early at the Region. I honestly think they have a good shot against Collins, if they can even make it that far.

Oldham could be dangerous too especially if Gruber is making shots.

South could possibly draw Collins in round 1, that would be a tough opening round game.
Oldham Co is playing real well, 11 wins in a row ... like in the last two years, they hang their hat on defense and get timely shooting. Gruber is shooting nearly 50% again this year from 3 pt range, and the other players (Kopp, Masters, Johnson, Lape) are stepping up every game. Holland does a great job!
