What is really going on that a school still has not hired a football coach and summer practice a little over a month away? Why wasn't the search comittee started at Magoffin right after last season instead of in May. What's all the big secrets about who they're trying to hire? I don't get it at all. The kids up there havn't been in the weight room, no spring ball, It's June and no coach.
This is so totally unfair for the kids up there. What in the hell is the hold-up?

Magoffin county is always slow on football, what kills me is they got rid of a really good coach by not allowing him to hire a new staff. Magoffin was starting to build a head of steam, one game from playoffs, not to bad for a team just getting off a 20 some game loseing streak. But I really lay the blame on the old admin, they hired a guy who didn't know a thing about football.

Really they need to hurry up cause summer ball ain't to far away and I'm sure who ever the coach is wants to watch some films from last year and see what they return and What they don't.

and I haven't heard anything, But I'll be in the stands come july 18th just to watch my Hornets first practice.

I think the principal is trying to do the right thing getting a true football coach.
But the clock is ticking and time is running out, summer practice will be here.
Tough situation, This season will be a tough. You can't bring a guy in in June or July even and expect to win. Why are they slow when it comes to football?
You summed the whole problem up. They should have started looking right after last season, then they could have had weight lifting and spring ball.
You can't pass a 100 question exam by cramming the night before, get my meaning.
