Ashland 68 - Southwestern 57
#1
Great showing in Lexington. Keep up the hard work ladies. Mercy tomorrow at 5:30.

A good win for Ashland...but, also a great example of "Be careful what you wish for". Mercy will beat Ashland by 20+. Ashland's not ready for this kind of competition.

You could be right but it will only make them better. I guarantee this team will not lay down and give it away. They will battle to the end

Mercy will be a huge test for the undersized Kittens - but as they say it is not always the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog (or kitten in this situation). Regardless of the outcome, Ashland will give it their all and give themselves an opportunity to pull out a win.

I know this message made it into the hands of some of the Ashland players before the game. They seemed to respond well.
