The Mullins Lady Tigers fell victim to another slow start today and lost to Pikeville in the opening round of the county tournamnet. At the end of the first quarter it was 15-3 Pikeville. Mullins made a small run in the second quarter and the half it was Pikeville 19-9. Mullins made it 19-12 after Sam Tibbs hit a three but it was all Pikeville after that, final score Pikeville 40 Mullins 21. Savanah Nunemaker had 22 pts for Pikeville. Mullins was led in scoring by Sam Tibbs with 11 pts and Amy Tibbs had 9 pts. Tayler Hamilton added the other point. :HitWall:

I went back and checked. And I stand corrected. The final was Pikeville 40 Mullins 23, and I did have Lorin Holliway with 2 pts. Sorry I left her out, but when you get old, things like that happen. Thanks again for bringing this too my attention.
