Final from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Solid all around effort by the Colonels. The EKU defense held SEMO to about 250 total yards and about 100 of that came in garbage time when Eastern led 31-0. The Colonels forced 3 turnovers and lead FCS in turnover margin. Matt Denham had 103 yards and a touchdown. Deshaun Sands added about 60 yards and a touchdown and Jared McLain had a pair of 3 yard touchdown runs. EKU is now 7-3 and has a huge game next weekend against Murray State. If they can win that they have a good shot of making the playoffs.

Awesome report! Murray St is looking tough. I hope the Colonels can get it done.
