Bulldogs are getting back into football shape with some of the kids who been hurting somewhat returning to the line up. Brandon Jones has only played in about 6 games this season. Alex Francis is another but hes played in 8 games and sit out a few. Jarrod Combs has played in 7 games. Combs is a decent weapon in the passing game and can make plays if the other recievers arent open.. The line has had a few absents with Tim Pittard only playing in 5 games not sure about his status but he will add a little depth to that offensive line. I also believe the Brandon Miller boy has had a few injuries and sat a few games out.. Hazard has played it smart though resting the young men to get them back healthy for a playoff run.

From what I've heard hazard still has two of their best players out for the season.. Also did anyone see this game the first time .... was it a good Pineville team that played them close or was it a fluke?
#22
Fluke and ton of help from old and blind zebras !!!!!

Do the math Hazard's already beat them, Hazard by 21

Hazard went thru about a three game stretch where they were playing lots of young kids trying to get some of their more experienced kids healthy and rested for this time of year while also getting some much needed experience for those younger kids. So there were some scores that made people rethink the Dawgs a little. I'd be surprised if Pineville's within 3 TD's in this one. People get too caught up in scores against common opponents, while some teams try to think about the overall future of a program. Hazard is a really good single A school and will be a tough out. If it pans out that it is Williamsburg and Hazard in the regional championship, I can guarantee it will not be a cake walk for the Jackets. They may have the horses to win but it will be a fight.

Hazard is well coached with very good athletes. They will be a tough out for anybody.

Excellent Post. I agree trying to get the kids healthy for the playoff and try for another shot at a state title.. Lots of people do get caught up with scores of common opponents but people need to remember injuries and sickness play a big part and other teams match up differently than others.

HAZARD big for the next two games. They will be battle tested in the final four and hopefully we will see them back at BG. Good luck.

Pulling for Pineville in this one.
