Why did Belfry make such a weak schedule?
#1
Just looking at their schedule and they loaded up on joke teams from West Virginia such as Burch, Tug Valley, Williamson, and Tolsia. They played a couple of "decent' teams, but I just saw how bad Letcher Central beat them (20-5) and it makes me wonder why they made such an easy schedule. It's only going to hurt them come tournament time.

I take back what I said about Belfry's schedule being weak now that I've seen Magoffin's schedule. I know last years was the worst looking schedule of all time, and they done it to get a winning record, but somehow they made an even easier schedule this season. I mean come on.

We had alot of games in the week when we played Letcher and didnt pitch one of our top pitchers so that explains that score.
But our schedule ist as bad as you think if you break it down. We had a game with Middlesboro get rained out and a double header at Montgomery Co. Chapmanville WV would win our Region they are awesome and Man WV is very good also. We play Pikeville, JC (first game with them got rained out in second inning), Paintsville two times, and Sheldon Clart twice. We also only lost to Allend Central by one run with Chapman not being at the game at all.
So our schedule isnt very weak. We do play alot of those teams that are weaker in WV but we played some good ones over there also. Tolsia isnt a bad team neither.
