It is only a great move if they are willing to pay the money to KEEP the players they develop AND if they can stay healthy. Travis Hafner and Grady Sizemore are very good players but I honestly don't think they have ever played more than 100 games in a season.

Wonderful hire, I agree but you cannot make a contender with a pretenders budget. The Indians organization might be the best at developing talent, but they keep shipping it away or allowing people to leave.

Definitely the best hire possible for the Indians although, I was hoping that by some chance the Red Sox would try to get him back because they never should have let him go in the first place.
