Tates Creek 46 - Clark Co. 39

Visting Clark Co. outgained Tates Creek 500-347, but the Commodores (4-5) managed to eke out the 46-39 victory on a Friday night that saw senior Dennis Oxendine score in three different fashions.

Oxendine, a running back, rushed seven times for 55 yards and two TDs. He caught seven passes for 109 yards and one TD. But his most impressive scoring play on the night came in the first quarter in the form of a 95-yard kickoff return that put the Commodores up 13-7.

The Cardinals (0-8) would go on to lead 27-25 at half, but were outscored 21-12 in the last 30 minutes. Sophomore quarterback Graham Gordon backed up Oxendine's versatile showing by going 19-for-24 for 232 yards and three TDs.
