At first glance these appear pretty solid!
#3
By these rankings Friday night in 2A #5 plays #6, and #2 plays #7. Big night in 2A!
#4
Glad to see Whitley County in the top ten. They have earned it. I don't believe Franklin County should be #4. They have beaten bad teams and gave up over 50 points in their win last week. Top ten football teams should NEVER give up that many points in a game. JMO
#5
Looks pretty solid.
#6
Agreed purple. Defense is what makes the top dogs, top dogs.

Conner, Cooper, and South Oldham have all beat one but not the other, making it hard to rank that little triangle. IMO, with Franklin County winning, and putting up a lot of points in the process, you cant really go against them.

Green County and Glasgow will be a great game too
#9
I would put Collins at 10 over Holmes in 4A. Other than that it looks pretty good.

How do you not have Anderson County in the top 10. All they lost from last year was a great Qb replaced by a younger Better brother and a runningback replaced by a great runningback?
#11
No way is belfry who is a constant hard hitting team is ranked so low

Anderson County is the first team on the outside looking in.
Had they beaten some better competetion, they would definitely be ranked.
#13
Good to see Bell Co has beaten 3A #9 Wayne Co, 5A #10 Whitley Co, #9 6A Bryan Station.

Only loss was to 4A #3 Lex Cath on the road with Kyle Bolin by 2 TD's.

Remember the Pirates got beat by 20 to a nonranked 3-5 Henry Clay team at Home.

That is some sound reasoning, I see your point.

Not too mention, Cox and Puckett have been putting on a show..But,,,

I am going to hold again on Anderson and leave the alma mater in the 10
spot. But,,,,this Friday will tell the tale! If Anderson beats Franklin or stays
within a TD, I gotta say that they deserve to be in the 10 spot based on
overall performance...

And yes RIUTG, I graduated from Whitley in '82.

If Whitley can travel to Harlan County and pick up a solid win, I would believe that they should stay in.
If Franklin County gets handed a loss by Anderson, they will fall back pretty far.
#18
I exspect Johnson Central to move up the ladder in 4a.
#19
Okay,,, here is my spill for Anderson (against my alma mater)

Anderson 6-1 ................................. Whitley 5-2
.
L Bryan Station 6A 5-2 ........................ L Russell County 4A 7-0
W Garrard 3A 3-4 ........................ W Rockcastle 4A 2-5
W Shelby Co. 5A 5-2 ......................... L Bell County 3A 6-1
W Mercer Co. 4A 4-3 ......................... W Clay County 4A 3-4
W Montgomery 5A 5-2 ......................... W Lynn Camp 1A 3-4
W Woodford 5A 3-4 ......................... W Somerset 2A 5-2
W W. Jessamine 5A 2-6 ........................ W Perry Central 5A 3-4
.
Scored 230 Allowed 152 ......................... Scored 207 Allowed 126

Anderson's only loss is to a 6A and they have only played 2 teams below their class,
Garrard and Mercer. No one below 3A.

Whitley has only played one team of equal or higher class, PCC. All the other games
have been a lower class. With a 1A and 2A in the mix. Now, I'm not knocking the
classes and Somerset, Bell, and Russel are quality programs. But Whitley lossed to
two of them

This Friday, Anderson plays BGR's #4 Franklin, while Whitley plays BGR's #8 Harlan. My
conclusion is if Anderson hands Franklin a loss at Franklin or stays within a TD, they are
definitely deserving of the #10 spot, no matter what Whitley does.
#20
Anderson County has done really well this season. Like you all said, tonight's game against Franklin County will show how good the Bearcats really are.
#21
I know that you dislike my Breds, but mark my words. They will be in Bowling Green playing for it all.

If Whitley wins as well at Harlan County they will not drop out of the top 10. IF Anerson beats Franklin they will also be in. Somebody else will drop out.
