Cov. Holy Cross vs. Beechwood 9/6/12

7:00 pm at Scott High School: This game has no playoff implications, but both teams are in desperate need of something good. It's been a very long time since Beechwood started the season 0-3 and Holy Cross has never beaten Beechwood in football.

Holy Cross is 1-2 with a dominating 69-20 win over Dayton, but have been dominated in 2 straight weeks to 5A top 10 teams Cooper and Conner.

Beechwood is 0-2, losing to 6A top 10 team Simon Kenton in a close game, but was beaten by unranked 4A Holmes, at one point being down 33-7. Beechwood is also without star players Max Nussbaum, Greg Erdman, and Colin Justice.

Should be a very entertaining dog fight between the 2.

this will be a good game and its hard to predict a winner.. Who all is injuried for the beechwood team?

By far there 2 best players, Nuessbaum(sp) and Erdman. If HC doesn't beat them without these 2, don't think they ever will.

Just heard Beechwood won 33-7.:yikes: HC might be in deep trouble.
