Gus Malzahn and his coaching staff are attracting athletes from all over the region no matter if they are committed to other schools or not.
Western Kentucky commitment and Mayfield Kentucky athlete LaBront Scott made the trip to Jonesboro on Sunday for Arkansas Stateâs last Senior Camp.
Scott, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound defensive end, admits that he was impressed with how the Arkansas State Coaches teach technique and how they coach on the field.
âI really enjoyed it a lot,â Scott told AStateNation.com. âThey coach with a lot of enthusiasm, I learned a lot, including some new techniques for my position.â
Scott is impressed with Coach Malzahn and his plan and vision for his program.
âThey are serious about playing football here,â Scott said. âYou can tell that they are building something special. Coach Malzahn wants to make things happen here.â
While Scott is still committed to Western
