Newport Central Catholic, ranked no. 5 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky baseball coaches’ poll, came back from a 4-0 deficit to score five runs in the sixth inning and hold on for a win over no. 3 Ryle.

Andy Miller started the rally with a two-run double to cut the deficit in half and Colin DuPont capped off the comeback with a two-run double of his own to give New Cath the lead for good.

In addition to his offensive heroics, Miller also threw a complete-game to pick up his second victory of the year .
