The Bears went 5-7 last year and won a playoff game for the first time in school history.

I coached the majority of this rising senior class in middle school.
They are without a doubt the tightest knit group I've ever been around (and that's in 17 years of coaching).
We won games we shouldn't have won because they fought so hard for one another. I could literally post a list of games that we did this in (beating much larger schools like Anderson County, etc.).
This class has all the makings of a good season. The coaching staff coming in last year has showed they are committed to truly building a program. Community support has always been there despite minimal returns some years.
Definitely going to be out in Taylorsville to watch some of these games. Go Bears!
