BOSTON -- On the same day Ohio State point guard Aaron Craft and his teammates qualified for the Final Four, his older brother, Brandon, was taking care of a more important assignment.
Brandon Craft, an infantryman in the Army, was deployed to Afghanistan Saturday.
"I talked to him this morning, and we had the going-away talk," Aaron Craft said after the Buckeyes beat Syracuse 77-70. "He just told me to enjoy it. He wishes he could watch and be here, but he'd doing something more important, and it just keeps everything in perspective.
"I'm just really happy I was able to enjoy this with our team.http://content.usatoday.com/communities/...3QfcGGPVDR

I am going with Rock Chalk Jayhawk 68-65. Bill Self has done one of his better coaching jobs this season.

I didn't even know they were playing.

Kansas 66-64

Most overlooked Final 4 game of all time?
03-30-2012, 04:16 AM

Well ESPN isn't exactly putting it front and center.
I'm all for trolling diehard big blue fans...
but UK-UL is probably getting covered 10 to 1 over the other this game in the national media.

This site needs OSU to win this game! No one has gotten BBN so upset on this site since Sparty ran away! Go Buckeye's, and let the trolling Continue!

f you confuse "FOUL ON ZERO" with "ON TWO-FOUR" I'm not sure I trust you with more complex tasks.
03-31-2012, 09:53 PM
Aaron Craft takes another charge.
03-31-2012, 09:54 PM
Deshaun is 0-4. Let him continue to shoot, get into a groove
03-31-2012, 09:56 PM
Ohio State is actually the faster team. 68th in adjusted tempo to Kansas's 115th.

Welcome to the NCAA Tournament, William Buford. If he gets hot, watch out. [
03-31-2012, 10:01 PM
Buford fixed his shooting woes
03-31-2012, 10:02 PM
Buford can go back to his shooting woes for all I'm concerned (UK fan)
03-31-2012, 10:03 PM
OSU is playing outstanding D. OUTSTANDING!
03-31-2012, 10:03 PM
That was a fabulous bit of defense from Ohio State on that sequence.
03-31-2012, 10:07 PM
Deshaun Thomas finds it. If he AND Buford are hitting shots, and OSU is defending like OSU defends, this might be a blowout.
03-31-2012, 10:07 PM
Wow. Has OSU MISSED a shot?
03-31-2012, 10:08 PM
Withey gets ball slapped out of hands, makes no real effort to get back on D, Craft drives to hoop.
03-31-2012, 10:08 PM
Hate to say it, but Kansas over-achieved all season and now it looks like they are hitting a wall. . .
03-31-2012, 10:10 PM
Wow. That's an interesting stat. Only second match-up of #2 seeds ever in tournament.
03-31-2012, 10:11 PM
Thought that was rolling around in my head at the end of the Kentucky game: "Watch the second game be a blowout."
03-31-2012, 10:11 PM
Sullinger is just having his way with Withey.
03-31-2012, 10:12 PM
OSU plays their best games in revenge games. That's a fact. I've seen them in 5 of them in the past two years, and man, they play awesome in them
03-31-2012, 10:22 PM
Game putting you to sleep
03-31-2012, 10:23 PM
Buford finally getting hot in the tournament. Its going to be a great match-up with OSU and Kentucky.
