I think Collins will put up a fight but Walton-Verona will be too much for the Lady Titans. I'll take Walton-Verona 55-40.

THE SCOUT
The Bearcats are the defending region champs and they have played like it this season. They are 15-1 against region foes, and their only loss was a 45-42 setback at Owen County in their fourth game of the season. Walton-Verona is big up front with Sandlin and Judy, so Collins will likely try to get the ball inside early in an effort to get those two into foul trouble. Titans Coach Phillip Conder said his team's goal is to get to the free throw line between 20 and 25 times.
COACH SPEAK
"We’ve got to focus on their shooters, they’ve got a complete team," Collins Coach Phillip Conder said. "We're going to play straight up with the big girls and try to keep a hand up on the shooters and hope they miss some shots."
"[Taulbee] is an unbelievable player, so we have got to limit her looks."
"Basically if we play the first half like we did against Anderson it should be a good game. They're supposed to be the best team in the region, so hopefully our defensive pressure will be there, and our rebounding [too]."
