It has been confirmed that Mayfield's Jr Defensive End #5 Labront Scott has verbally committed to play for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers fall of 2013, Scott a 6'3 230 pound Jr made 100 stops from his DE postion for the 14-1 Mayfield Cardinals

Given the rumored attention U of L was giving him I thought he might too but I am glad to see him heading to WKU. The kids got good grades and the physical tools to be very successful in college

I too would have thought that Scott, would have kept his options open, and I as well heard that U of L was/is showing interest in him, but I guess that Scott experienced something that made him want to verbally commit to WKU.
You know I think Scott made a good choice in Western (we can still go see him play) I wanted to see him and Jackson at U of L but, its not about what I want, I also use to think that Jackson would go to U of L but it appears that U of L signed 100 linebackers this year(sarcasm) if I had to guess I would say Ole Miss has the inside track on Jackson now with UK following, but its only a guess and Jackson could wind up at Oregon. Penn State Notre Dame or anywhere.......
