NBA Draft Justice
#1
In case someone doesn't know yet, I despise the NBA Draft lottery. It seems rare that the team with the worst record gets the #1 pick. That is one of the major reasons that in a salary-cap sport, we still have teams that can be perennial basement-dwellers.

There were 3 times in the last 5-6 years that the Sacramento Kings had the WORST record in the NBA and did not get the #1 pick.

The saddest one was when Blake Griffin was the obvious #1 pick and somehow the Clippers got him instead of the Kings. Confusederiously:

Derrick Rose, a CHICAGO native, goes to the Bulls when they have a 1.7% chance to get him? Confusederiously:

In 1993, the Orlando Magic got the #1 pick with a 1.52% chance of getting it. To add to it, they had the #1 pick the year BEFORE as well!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be some justice if the Kings could somehow pull the #1 pick out in the upcoming draft.

The projected order, as of right now is:
Bobcats
Pistons
Wizards
Hornets
Kings

^Just goes to show you, look at how historically bad the Kings have been and they have never had the #1 pick in the lottery..

I like the draft lottery personally I'd like to see more sports do it.

lol...has to suck knowing the only success your team has had is a few good playoff series against the Lakers, hahaha.

Looking at this list, the last four number one picks seem to have all panned out or have a good chance of panning out. I bolded the ones that, IMO, truly panned out as number one picks or that I believe will pan out.

I do find it very unfortunate that the Kings haven't been able to secure a number one overall pick, based on their lack of success, especially recently. But Tyreke Evans was a terrific pick up through the draft, so hopefully they can continue to build around him.

Lakers4life thinks you have some serious issues thinking we are all the same person. But, on this one I am with K_Mac I couldnt care less how they do it because the Lakers neevr get a top pick regardless. To fans of GOOD teams unlike trash teams like Sacramento, we dont care.
