Rowan County’s success this season has been built around two different things, a stingy defense and Taylor Lewis-led offense.

Both were true to form on Friday night as the Lady Vikings held Menifee County to 34 points and Lewis poured in 23.

The Lady Vikings (19-3) have now won five straight games and 14 of their last 15.

Kathryn Duff and Faith Conn joined Lewis in double figures. Duff scored 13, while Conn chipped in 10.

Menifee County (11-13) was led by Haley Lane and Chelsea Walker, who each scored eight.
