As bad as I hate to say it, this maybe the only other win Estill gets during the regular season this year, after Owsley they have Williamsburg @ Williamsburg Saturday, then Madison Southern, Buckhorn and Knott County Central.

Owsley's playing better. They had a 6 point halftime lead at Powell last night. But then their youth caught up with them and the second half wasn't as nice to the Owls. If they could just put together 4 quarters. One good note, though, is Joey Grove played for the first time since injuring his knee 12 games ago against Lee County.

Estill will win by about 10. Homecoming nights mean big crowds, lots of noise, and difficulty for visiting teams. Plus, Estill has a pretty good team. They'll probably be playing at the regional tournament this year (more than likely as a district runner-up to Powell).

He played a little last night. He got in foul trouble. He has to get back in the groove the next few weeks. It's good to have him back.

Good to see the kid back. I talked to him and his dad after the Estill/Owsley Game in Booneville, very nice kid, very nice people. Grove was actually at Estill before transferring to Owsley. I had his dad for a teacher in Middle School

LOOKAYANEER I thought Owsley could had a larger lead at half if some shots had fallen...they struggle on the boards.... Powell .. if you pressure there guards full court they have trouble... Estill should win this by at least 10 I think

Estill better show up. If the Owls can play an entire game without letdowns they can beat anyone in the district and after getting hosed at Powell they will be ready to play.

hosed at powell? yea right. owlsey had guys throwin cheapshots all night. shelby actually punched a powell player after he got stripped an nothin was called. another owl player spit on powells court with about 30 seconds left. when powell gets the ball inside to dennis like they did that game they are rlly hard to beat. im sorry but owsley has probably the least sportsmanship of any team i have seen play this yr. it may be becuz they are so young, but they have alot to learn.

I would agree with that. The players act like the coach he cries every game says they where cheated. Players will act like the leadreship around them, but Owsley has gotten better and it should be a good game in the disrtrict.
