Lawrence Thomas made a driving layup with two seconds left to give Southern Indiana a 69-68 victory against Northern Kentucky on Saturday.
NKU led by 19 in the first half and 12 with 3:43 left in the game, but Southern Indiana ended the game on a 16-3 run.
Thomas scored six points in the final 28 seconds and led USI (16-3 overall, 8-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference) with 17 points.
Chad Jackson led NKU (15-4 overall, 7-4 GLVC) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Ethan Faulkner added 13 points and Jalen Billups scored 10.
NKU has not won a regular-season game in the PAC Arena since Dec. 10, 1994.
