I don't see this many 9th region teams as being worthy of the Top 25. As a longtime 9th region follower, this is a very average or sub-average year in the 9th. If indeed these 9th region teams belong in the Top 25, that speaks volumes as to how poor the high school basketball in this state has become. Dixie is better than their record. Holy Cross seems to have a lot of good ingredients. Covcath and Newcath? Both may miss the regional tourney.

Rowan must be in the top 25 after barely losing to Bullitt East by 2 beating GRC and Mason Co. Time to start giving them respect.
