She scored eight on Monday and 34 on Friday against HCHS. The shots fell one night and they didn't the other.

Morris had about 15 in the game vs. Clay County. Clay did a good job guarding her. Her shots were falling. She just didn't get a lot of open looks.

Morris is tall and very athletic but not very physical yet. She didn't post up very often in the HCHS game. She hit six 3-pointers and a couple of other jumpers.

Whitley is most definantly a contender for the 13th region title this year! HC started strong but has since been slowed by injuries and other teams playing them well. I still believe this is the most balanced the 13th has been in quite a long time. If you look at the teams in an unbiased manner, I see CLay, Whitley, HC, Harlan, Bell, Corbin, Knox and South as being teams that have a legit shot at cutting down the nets at the Arena this year. We all know some things have to go right in order for most of these teams to win it all, but all of them have the skill, players and with a little luck may cut down the nets.

Lion #1 I agree with most things you've said except the part about HDE not standing up for himself. I think this statement in bold proves that and I bet RIUTG doesn't show to discuss anything. I also don't agree with you quiting BGR cause unlike what RIUTG said,most poster's don't respond like he does and it just shows that he is more interested in trolling than being taken seriously. I mean he made the first comment about HC and by doing so he knew someone from HC's fanbase would respond so he could come out with the name calling. Look,he puts up faulty stats,agree's with post from both sides of the aisle on different threads,name calling and I could go on. These things just show his true colors when it comes to debating the issues. I will however advise you to stay away from things like the football forum as i am very mild compared to a lot of posters on here.

This is a great site because we can express ourselves any way we want to and when people like you just get upset over a forum, it makes people like myself enjoy it even more because your to serious. Anybody that looks at high school sports as the end all be all needs to move on and should care less.

For example, ive been ragging on HDE for so long now i cant remember when i didnt. With that said, i do post stuff thats wrong, but in case you cant tell in a lot of cases its done purposely just to try to get a rise which is what any fan will do. HDE killed it though because he will no longer reply which makes it no fun anymore. Hence, i dont say anything to him much anymore. Ive got my rise out of him. As i said though, im breaking no rules, and im not the only one who does this, just about every poster on here does if you open up all the threads.

As for HDE, i will no longer post anything towards you. All fair debate. You call me out a lot, but so do i towards your part. I thought it was all in good fun until you all get mad and cant take it. I will however post how i feel about any situation as i hope you do.

You are the one taking it too seriously when you get mad because someone picked Whitley fifth in the region. Right now, Whitley is probably second, so they are better than expected by the preseason polls. Congratulations, but it's not unusual for a team to exceed expectations or fall below them. It's sports. It's part of the fun. It's not a personal attack on Whitley or anyone else.

Yes because theres nothing else to do during this time of year. I take my football very seriously, not girls basketball.
