Who is still in contention for him? When does he have to decide?

He missed the early signing period which was November. Now he has to ait for the regular signing period that runs April-May. UCLA, USC, UK, dUKe, Kansas, Memphis & Texas A&M. He's from Las Vegas and seems to flop weekly between UNLV and UK.

From what I've read, UCLA has had the lead for a while, but recently UK is neck and neck with them. I can't remember the players name, but he's in the top 10, committed to UCLA. Him and Shabazz are good friends.
If he don't go to UK, I hope he stays home. I believe he will be a Cat though.

From what I am gathering, he could go to Rutgers and still be a lottery pick. I am guessing whoever has to most extra to offer wins (not necessarily cheating, I mean atmosphere, fans/praise, climate, etc....)

I view Shabazz and OJ Mayo's situations the same. Everyone wants them and they could even call up a random school and they would make room. lol

This is why I am adamantly against any rule that prohibits a High School senior to not enter the NBA draft.
Baseball has it right. A player should be able to enter the NBA draft after high school. If it does not work, then that was a bad decision on the individual and the guidance he was given. If he chooses college, then he should be required to stay two years.
A player like Shabazz has no interest in being a college player. To him, this is all a game and before long, we will see improprieties discovered - Again! I'm not blaming Shabazz, but a player like him should be rewarded for his abilities, not forced into doing something that he has minimal interest in!

I have a good feeling he'll be a cat for a year. It would be nice to have a premier talent like him to wear those eight letters of tradition across his chest!

I can surely see him coming to Kentucky.

He looked like a man-child today!! I really hope that he decides to come to UK!!

Agreed he looked good.
I for one am glad Nerlins Noel idnt come. After watching him get man handled by a fat white guy for the few minutes i watched the other night when his team played, i dont think we lost much there...

Where did Nerlens Noel commit? You're out of your mind, Noel is a premier talent, he's right there with Jabari Parker, two of the best juniors in the nation. That would be nice to have those two!

IMO...he stays close to home at UNLV, regardless he's gonna be gone after 1 year.
