Does Russell and Vanhoose still have a shot?

After a big-time lack luster game against Greenup, Could Russell still possibly have a chance of winning the 16th region with the likes of Morgan and Boyd gone?
Vanhoose, Did he play against Greenup? He should have 24 points by himself.
Does Russell have a shot at all now?

Russell, along with Fairview, Ashland, Elliott and Greenup all have a shot at cutting down the nets in Ellis T. Just depends which one wants it the most.

Russell has just as good of chance as anyone else at winning the region. If they keep playing like they have been then they will get beat, but if coach Dodd can pull this team together and get them to play three solid ball games then they do have a good shot at cutting down the nets. It should be quite an interesting tournament this year!

Russell has a good as chance as anybody to cut the nets but they are going to have to get it back on track. 24 pts a game won't win a Marv Meredith game. Vanhoose, Sizemore, Blair, Gill, Lavender,Simpson,Turner,Clark,Frazur,Maddox need to take pride in the Maroon & Gold and take this team on there shoulders and play basketball. This team can put up 60-70 pts a game if allowed. Time to get focused and take pride in the Devils.

I don't see Russell's lack luster offense to with stand a solid attack from Rowan County.

Vanhoose is a very good ball player better then Owens from Boyd I think he is never denied a three. But remember their is no I in team to get to rupp is has to be a team factor.

The loss of ANY starter always hurts the team. And yes, the loss of Clark did hurt Russell.

Agree. Any time a starter and a play maker as Kasey was, leaves your team. It does affect the out come. Sizemore has steped up his playing to fill the gap but only Russell holds there destiny. These kids can score when giving the chance. Before they suit up. The true Red Devils in heart. Need to take a good hard look at the Maroon & Gold and get ready to leave it all on the floor. Go Russell .
