Estill is a completely new team from the last time Somerset seen them. They seem to be playing a lot better than what they did earlier in the year. I'm sure Somerset's Coach will tell his players to expect a dog fight on Monday. Hopefully it's a good entertaining game. I'll take Estill at home 54-51

your forgetting that Estill had Powell beat but couldn't make shots down the stretch like Powell did. You wanna talk about horrible schedules? Look at Powell's. They've beat Menifee Twice, Jackson City, Owsley County (Which that's district game), Bourbon County, Lee County and Grant County. All of those Teams except 1 (Grant County) has Losing Records. You all just about lost to Lee County Twice, You just about Lost to Owsley County. I will give you all credit you all did just about beat a very good North Laurel team. I really don't consider those wins good wins for Powell. Estill done a very good job against Holmes. When Estill played Madison southern, everything Southern threw up went in. Your forgetting to look at the close games that Estill lost that they should have won. Ryle, Prestonsburg, Wolfe County, Powell County and from the looks of things Estill had Holmes beat but like the games they've lost they couldn't finish down the stretch

So Estill jumping out to a double digit lead in the Powell game wasn't dominate? Powell didn't beat powell, estill beat estill by not making there shots down the stretch like Powell did. As for your "Prediction" on the Jan. 20th, we shall see about that. You powell fans say this year in and year out. You wanna talk about the refs? Really? It's like everytime you all lose you all make up excuses like that. the Officiating was horrible, we had players out, our worst game of the year, blah blah blah it's always the same thing with powell. not blaming the refs saying thats why powell lost. actually powell won the owsley an lee game i spoke of. powell had NL beat an the refs did cause that game to go to ot where powell got beat. powell is a completely different team if they can stay out of foul trouble. it helps having a 6'6" center on the court that u can depend on to get almost every defensive board an have teams dbl down on to create open jump shots for guards. just like morris for estill it is very critical the big stays on the floor. i rlly like watchin estill play cuz they are very scrappy an play hard all game. an the jones kid is gonna b a very nice player as he gets older.

Don't forget that when Estill and Somerset played earlier that Somerset's 9 football players had only been with the team for a week and a half. The Briar Jumpers are a much improved team also as their 10 point win over an Anderson County team that beat the Engineers by 30 shows.
Somerset will be on the road and will be playing their 5th game in 8 days but I think they have too much for Estill.

What hurt Estill in the Anderson County game was Anderson County came out hot from behind the Arc, I think they hit 4 or 5 three's before missing one and Number 33 was the one that was making them. It also didn't help with Estill turning the ball over. I haven't seen Somerset so I don't know how Estill will match up with them. Somerset is a very good team and will cause problems for my Engineers but it's at Estill and Estill loves playing at home but what school doesn't like playing at home? When you have the band, the crowd and all of that., that's why I gave Estill the edge over the Jumpers.

Do you even go to any of Estill's games? Probably not. I have been to them all except East Jessamine, Berea Invitational, Boyle County and Southwestern. Estill went 5-17 from the Free Throw line against Ryle. Estill went 7/13 from the Free Throw line. Against Powell County we didn't make our shots down the stretch like Powell did the same thing with Somerset. Estill did do a better job at the free throw line against Somerset. You do this not only not only in Basketball but Softball as well. What is your deal with Estill, I mean seriously?
