Covington Catholic, ranked No. 9 in the Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, came away with the upset win over No. 2 Boone County (5-1) behind senior forward Zane McQueary's game-high 25 points. Teammate Chase Stanley added 22 points.
CovCath (3-3) was coming off a thrilling four-overtime loss Friday night.
Sophomore guard Nick Ruthsatz led Boone County with a team-high 15 points in the loss.

St. Xavier at Covington Catholic Friday should be a good game. Both teams playing well.
