I thought this game would be much closer than 20 points.

OUCH! As previously mentioned, did not think Marion County was 20 points better than Casey County. I knew they were a Top 1, 2, or 3 team in the State but I guess that I overvalued the Lady Rebels.

Let's see a Casey team that wasnt even ranked in louisville paper and lexington paper had them ranked 19th goes in and plays depending on which paper you read the number 1 team in the state or the number 2 team in the state on there thier home floor on opening night and you all are surprized it was a 20 point win. Well how many of the other top 25 teams would have went in and came out with a win against Marion county? And now you all are questioning how good you thought Casey was? Well i wouldn't count Casey out of the picture in the 12th. Marion is a very good team with 3 D 1 signees how many times do you play that kind of competition each night? Heck they have Lincoln county ranked 11th and only won by 8 over a Pulaski team maybe they are little over rated. At least you have to give Casey and Coach Salyers credit at least they wasnt afraid to open the season against the top team in the state.

I am surprised that Coach Salyers could not get the momentum of the game to slow down. It isn't everyday that a team scores almost 70 points on a good Randy Salyers team.
By your logic, you are saying that it would be completely normal to you for Duke to beat Vanderbilt by 20 points. That doesn't make sense. I agree that Marion County is arguably the best team in the state, I believe that they will be the team cutting down the nets, but that is my opinion. However, it doesn't mean that they should beat other teams by 20 points. Their opponents should play better. It is not normal for a good team to get beat by 20, especially when they have the personnel and coach that wants to play slower and control the clock.
